Take this stunning guest bedroom, for example. With little space to accommodate guests in their home, our clients wanted to utilise their garden space to create the perfect place for family and friends to relax and enjoy their stay.

Cedar lined, this sustainably built luxury suite comprises an outdoor covered vestibule which leads to the two-door internal cloakroom, perfect for kicking off boots and hanging coats.

Floor to ceiling double glazed windows (13ft by 8ft high) flood the room with light and make it a wonderful place to just sit and relax. Positioned towards the leafy view and away from the house, guests feel like they are in a real woodland retreat, with total privacy and personal space.

The porcenelosa ensuite bathroom has under-floor heating and a luxurious walk in shower so guests can enjoy a 5-star hotel style experience, just yards from the house.

On this project we were delighted to partner with John Lewis in providing a full interior design and entertainment package.  John Lewis Aberdeen worked closely with us (and the client of course) to design the interior layout from TV positioning to tables, chairs, rugs and even the bed linen.

What impressed everyone on and off site was how quickly this durable, climate proof and perfectly designed structure was in place.  From initial 3d designs to locking the door and handing over the keys to our clients, this garden suite was ready to be enjoyed in just 4 weeks.  We took care of everything from planning and permissions to laying the foundations, erecting the walls, fitting the steps and timber flooring before decorating the walls, ready for interiors to go in.
