I have been with the company for 7 years. My role is to assist clients in visualizing how Mozolowski & Murray can transform their homes. Our design consultants work with clients in developing the initial concept and I develop this into a fully functioning 3-dimensional model, which not only helps to alleviate any initial design issues, but it brings the design to life for our clients, giving them a real insight into how their structure will look in reality.
I love understanding how things work. I think crafting and building complex roofs would be something I would really like to try. I would therefore swap with Andy Pye at the factory who creates the roofs for every Mozolowski & Murray project.
Together, hardworking, progressive
One project springs to mind, which was when I worked with our Sales Consultant, Gordon Little on a large project, which needed to get off to a smooth start! Our clients were coming into the design centre the next morning, so I began working on designing an impressive panoramic 3d image of the conservatory, including an internal walk around as well. I wanted to ensure the clients had an early insight into what this project could achieve for them in terms of lifestyles but equally how this was going to complement their existing property. But as luck would have it, my software failed and I could not get it to work. Determined to turn this around, I stripped down my PC, swapped it over with another and connected it all back up to the server and screens. What at one point seemed like a disaster, (and a very long night) ended up feeling like a massive sense of achievement, as the meeting went well and our clients are now enjoying their stunning conservatory.
There are a number of colleagues who I work closely with, whose names begin with G, so we just call each other G (it keeps it simple)
Once at the Christmas party I didn’t drink enough ‘water’, so on the journey back home to Edinburgh, I had to stop at a colleague’s house due to being significantly ‘dehydrated’ and not feeling all that well. A tad embarrassing looking back!
Christopher Nolan (director). I would love to be a film director and have the freedom to create something great from only my imagination, with no restrictions on budget and with a great team helping me.
Ayrton Senna (Brazilian Motor racing champion), as he was a deeply religious man who didn’t let riches or successes stop his beliefs or him helping his fellow man. He is such an interesting person who once said after a race, that he felt god take over his body and did 3 of the fastest laps ever recorded.
I enjoy Golf and tennis, although I don’t spend enough time doing them. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family and try to enjoy life as much as possible.
I am dyslexic, although it might not surprise that many people. I always struggled with reading and writing at school, but in some ways, looking back, I think of it as being a blessing more than a hindrance.
