As one of the few companies to invest in using engineered hardwood as a main component, we work closely with Timbmet Silverman, the UK’s largest importer of quality hardwoods, to ensure that our timber is sustainably sourced, well managed and of superior quality. Engineered hardwood possesses considerably greater overall strength and stability than solid timber sections and is proven to be much more resistant to warping, bowing, expansion and contraction thus preventing frames from shrinking and reduced weather sealing.  As well as using this superior wood to guarantee the quality of each build, Mozolowski & Murray combines engineered hardwood with high performance glass and high efficiency insulation for optimum results.

A glass and timber build should incorporate high levels of insulation to ensure the structure can be used comfortably all year round, from advanced insulation materials in the base and low walls and high performance gaskets and seals, to climate control glass with A-rated energy performance and thermal efficiency. The advancement of modern glazing and the microscopically thin and transparent reflective coating on the glass reflects longwave radiation back into the room, thus retaining heat, whilst maximising natural light transmission and providing superb thermal efficiency all year round.
